Story Plot Summary

The story started 3 years after the divorce of Yama (maggie cheung) with Jason (nick cheung). 3 years ago, Yama meets Cruise Director Jason on the cruise ship right after Yama was dumped by her boyfiriend. The two fall in love and get married immediately, however when her ex-fiancee wants her back, Jason and Yama have a misunderstanding that causes them to divorce immediately. 


3 years after, Jason meet again with Yama when they work in same travel agency. Jason now live with 2 bestfriends NG, and Christine in same house. Once Yama and Jason run into each other, havoc happens. The two continue to make life difficult for each other. At one time, Yama found out that she entitled to get alimony from Jason (half of Jason salary) because of the divorce.


Jason get mad and hired an unknown man , Lau Wah (Stephen Au) to pretend to be interested in Yama and marry her so he can get out of paying alimony to her. After several occasions, Jason finally found out that Yama actually loves him 3 years ago. All this while, he thought Yama only reason to marry him 3 years ago is just to show off to her ex-boyfriend. Jason confess to Yama and ask for forgiveness. But, Yama refused because she thought Jason is childish because Jason decided to leaver her and never ask her the truth 3 years ago.


Then, Jason later finds out that Lau Wah has ulterior motives for Yama and tries to warn her, but she doesn't believe him thinking he is trying to ruin her new found love. Lau Wah become the antagonist. He collaborate with her grandmom to fool Yama into marriage . After many efforts, finally Lau wah true intention found out. Then, after so many tests and tribulations, Yama finally married with Jason.


Characters

Jason (nick cheung)- at the start of the story, he portay as a very playful and cheerful man. Then, after he know the truth about 3 years ago, he become somewhat serious, caring and truthful to his love to Yama. Nick Cheung character is very loveable, character that everyone loves.


Yama (maggie cheung) - very keen of finding a true love. At the same time, she was traumatized with marriage because she had failed marriage 2 times before. She remain in love with Jason until Lau Wah appears. She really believes Lau Wah and never listen to Jason that Lau Wah is a pretentious liar.


Lau Wah (stephen au) - very cunning and have ulterior motives. She pursue Yama to get the lottery 5 million that Yama win. She plans to marry Yama and divorce her. A very hateful character in this drama.


Love story

Jason and Yama is very cute as a couple. I really like how they bickering with each other everytime they encounter. I really love how Jason change his attitude towards Yama when he knows the truth 3 years ago. Jason really love Yama, and Yama also loves Jason but she trauamatized with marriage. Yama dont want to marry Jason even after Lau Wah's lie was exposed.

At the end of the story, jason and his best friend, Christine pretend to marry and invite Yama to the wedding. At the wedding, Jason confess true feeling to Yama and finally Yama agree to marry him


Verdict

-This drama i believe is the second last drama of Nick Cheung before he pursue movies career. I really love his character in here. nick cheung and maggie cheung is perfect in this series.

-The ending is of course happy ending finally after so many incidents happened.

-The subplot about Christine ( JOyce Tang) found out that Yama is her sister also not bad.

-The subplot about NG (Ram Chiang) and Pauline also good

-The subplot about the travel agency company is abit boring, but essential because this is where the love between Yama and Jason rekindled.

-The story of course very fresh because they are shooting on cruise ship, and in USA.

-Recommended to watch for Maggie cheung and Nick cheungf fans.

-the theme song by nick cheung also very nice

-overall 8/10

Im creating a blog to make review of tvb drama that i have watched/recently watched. Hopefully this blog will keep active. Im a very long time tvb drama fan . Maybe since 1998-1999.
